  1. What an amazing collection of photographs, commemorating so many events. You have an amazing history. I wonder if you have any photographs of Peter Sieruta–though I know he didn’t like to be photographed.

  2. Love looking at the photos from my favorite bookstore! I have been a customer since day one. I’m anxiously awaiting the next part(s). We also need photos of you in your masks, never giving up, finding a way to serve the community and provide the best service and books ever. Thank-you BookBeat!

    • Hi Edna,

At Book Beat you’ve always been one of our guiding lights. Your support and help are appreciated… but we want you and everyone to be well and safe until the time is right. We hope to be there too.

      Love,

      Cary & Colleen

      • This is a “must” stop whenever we are in Michigan. I was caught up by the magic when I made my first visit more than 35 years ago and have never been disappointed. I am proud to have introduced many friends to Bookbeat and am even prouder of Cary and Colleen for their determination to provide the Metro Detroit area with only the best. It is a bookstore for all…

    • Hi, Edna! What fun to find you here. It’s one of my favorite places, too. Wait ‘til I tell Eric I “bumped” into you again but this time on line with BookBeat. What fun! Hope you and yours are all well. Sending along a hug.
      Love you, BookBeat!

  3. Cary & Colleen — thank you for all you’ve done over the years! I appreciated every one of our Oak Park Library collaborations! Take care! Much love to you.

    • Thanks John! Hope all is well with you. Some great memories at the Oak Park library. We’re selling curbside and waiting for the time we can continue our liaisons with area libraries.
