Colleen Gleason (aka Colleen Cambridge, C.M. Gleason, and Alex Mandon) is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling and award-winning author who has written over fifty novels in mystery, fantasy adventure, historical novels, cyberpunk, and horror genres. Her new book (as Colleen Cambridge) is Murder by Invitation Only, the third in the Phyllida Bright series about Agatha Christie’s fictional housekeeper. It releases September 26th. Colleen Gleason lives in the Ann Arbor area.

Fans of Jacqueline Winspear, Marie Benedict, Nita Prose, and of course, Julia Child, will adore Colleen Cambridge’s release from last April: Mastering the Art of French Murder: An American In Paris Mystery. This magnifique new mystery set in Paris stars Julia Child’s (fictional) best friend, confidante, and fellow American. This delightful new book provides a fresh perspective on the iconic chef’s years in post-WWII Paris.

“Cambridge balances Downton Abbey–style period charm with a tight plot that twists and turns right until the end, with utter believability. . . . Reminiscent of Jessica Ellicott’s ‘Beryl & Edwina’ series, this novel will please readers with its historical world and a plot that would satisfy Poirot.” —Library Journal

“Cambridge takes inspiration from several of Christie’s most celebrated novels in devising her agreeably intricate plot.” —Kirkus Reviews

“What if Agatha Christie’s housekeeper was the best detective of all? In this delightful book, she is!”
–Victoria Thompson, National Bestselling Author of Murder on Wall Street

“Enchanting…Cambridge captures Child’s distinct voice and energy so perfectly. Expect to leave this vacation hoping for a return trip.”
Publishers Weekly

Praise for Murder at Mallowan Hall:

“It’s obvious Cambridge had a blast writing the book, set in 1930s Devonshire, and her fun is infectious. Phyllida is a confident first-time detective, modeling herself on her hero, Christie’s Hercule Poirot, who outshines all suitors who have come her way. Phyllida’s smarts and assurance don’t save her from making mistakes, some of which delay solving the case. Paced at a gallop, it’s an entertaining read. Recommended.” —Historical Novel Society

“Two words describe this book: absolutely delicious…Murder at Mallowan Hall is a near-perfect traditional mystery.” —First Clue

Dianne Freeman is the author of the Countess Harleigh Mysteries, including the sixth and newest in the series A Newlywed’s Guide to Fortune and Murder which is set in Victorian England with an American heiress as its protagonist. Perfect for fans of Rhys Bowen, Deanna Raybourn, and Tasha Alexander, a witty romp through the high society of Victorian England with a touch of romance, an independent female lead, and rich historical detail from the acclaimed and Agatha Award-winning author. Dianne Freeman lives in metro Detroit.

“My mom introduced me to the works of Edith Wharton and Agatha Christie when I was quite young and I read them over and over. Thus, my love of mysteries and the late Victorian era.”
–Dianne Freeman

The Agatha Award-winning Countess of Harleigh Mysteries:

a series of six novels (so far)

“A pleasant combination of Victoriana and murder.” –Kirkus on A Newlywed’s Guide to Fortune and Murder

“Though the story contains a death by poisoning and a second attempted murder, it’s by no means violent. In fact, it’s a very polite and well-mannered tale of greed and murder.”
New York Journal of Books

“Zesty…Clever plotting matches appealing characterizations. Freeman continues to delight.” —Publishers Weekly on A Bride’s Guide to Marriage and Murder

“Will appeal to fans of Regency and Victorian cozies that are heavy on romance, as well as to followers of Elizabeth Peters and Deanna Raybourn.” —Booklist on A Bride’s Guide to Marriage and Murder

“Freeman delivers it all: clever plotting, charming characters, plausible suspects, and red herrings galore. This historical is pure unadulterated fun.” —Publisher’s Weekly on A Fiancee’s Guide to First Wives and Murder
