Book Beat March Newsletter

Dear Readers,

Here are a few recent releases the Book Beat staff is enjoying–and a few upcoming events.

Our reading book selection this month is War and Turpentine by Stefan Hertmans. It is based on the life story of the author’s grandfather, an artist who kept a 600 page diary throughout World War I. Reading group books are available and discounted 15% at Book Beat. If you’re looking for an online reading group to share your thoughts, drop us a line and we’ll add your email to the list.

The Book Beat staff recommends:

The Rupture Tense by Jenny Xie, a finalist for the 2022 National Book Award for poetry.

All’s Well by Mona Awad, a new novel in paperback by the author of Bunny.
