Lambda Literary Award-winning author Frank Anthony Polito returns with Dragged to Death, book 4 in his cozy mystery series following queer couple PJ Penwell and JP Broadway who renovate old houses on their hit TV show, Domestic Partners.
Set in the fictional Detroit suburb of Pleasant Woods, located between Fernridge and Royal Heights, Dragged to Death blends mystery, humor, home renovation, and LGBTQ+ representation as PJ and JP find themselves pulled into another murder investigation.
After the series was discontinued by its original publisher, Polito chose to self-publish the final book in the series under his own imprint, Woodward Avenue Books, ensuring readers can finish the story.
Frank Anthony Polito is a Hazel Park native and 1988 graduate of Hazel Park High School. He is the Lambda Literary Award-winning author of Drama Queers! and the acclaimed novel Band Fags!, inspired by his life growing up in Hazel Park during the 1980s. With a career spanning fiction, screenwriting, and narrative design, his work often explores LGBTQ+ identity with humor, heart, and authenticity.
