Ring Shout: February Reading Selection

Ring Shout, the 2021 Nebula Award winner by P. Djèlí Clark is our February reading group selection. Books are in stock now and discounted 15%. Because of the late arrival of books we will meet at Book Beat or online a week later than usual on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 PM. A link to the online zoom meeting will be sent on the day of the meeting. If you’d like to receive notices send us your name and email and we’ll add you to our reading group list. Meetings are free and open to the public.The Book Beat reading group has been meeting monthly since the late 90s to discuss quality world lit in translation.

Born in New York and raised mostly in Houston, P. DJÈLÍ CLARK (he/him) spent part of his childhood in Trinidad and Tobago, the homeland of his parents. He is the author of the novel A Master of Djinn and the novellas Ring Shout, The Black God’s Drums, and The Haunting of Tram Car 015. He has won the Nebula, Locus, and Alex Awards and been nominated for the Hugo, World Fantasy, and Sturgeon Awards. He is also a founding member of FIYAH Magazine of Black Speculative Fiction and an infrequent reviewer at Strange Horizons.
