Join us Friday, September 5 from 1-8 p.m. for the first annual Detroit Festival of Records (Detroit Vinylfest). Brought to you by the creators of Detroit Bookfest and Geoff Walker of Michigan Records, this new event will take place at Eastern Market—Shed #5 (2934 Russell Street Detroit, MI 48207). FREE ENTRY!
Vendors will be selling vinyl records/LPs, CDs, cassette tapes, music-related posters, ephemera, t-shirts, and more. Some musicians/DJs/rappers, etc, will be doing autograph signings.
Also, there will be an Official Afterparty from 8 p.m.- 2 a.m. featuring DJ’s at a location in the Eastern Market District. (More info TBD).
