Yoshitomo Nara + graf DVD

At the exhibition “yoshitomo nara + graf Tower of Malaga”, the first exhibition of Yoshitomo Nara + graf in Spain, held at the Museum of Contemporary Art (cacmalaga) in Spain from September 21, 2007 to January 6, 2008, graf A hut. This “yoshitomo nara + graf cacmalaga” is a DVD containing a documentary video that follows the making of the installation. Made from scrap wood collected in the local Malaga became a symbolic tower in the center of the Malaga Museum, which captured the hearts of visitors to the exhibition. The viewer follows the artists in the entire process of creating the work, from the purchase of materials, creation of individual pieces and the building of the tower itself. Interviews are conducted wherein the artists explain their approach and motivations, while other critical authorities explore the wider context of their practice.
