Barry Roth: Cereal Box painting (set of four, pandemic man)
Unique cereal and product boxes, folded inside out and painted on all surfaces and covered in polyurethane. The original cereal box, product image, and advertising can be seen on the inside. Boxes are either taped or glued together. Each are signed and dated on the inside in black marker. Other boxes and sculptures are available, please inquire.
Barry Roth is an artist and photographer born in Detroit, Michigan, 1951. Roth received a BFA in 1973 from Rochester Institute of Technology,Rochester, N.Y., and a MFA in 1976 from the Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. / He is a founding member of the Nightcrawlerz collective and lives in Huntington Woods, Michigan.
Pictured is a set of four small boxes that combine into one “pandemic man” portrait. Approximately 6”x8” sold as one set of four, each is signed and dated on inside box lid.
