Henneberg\u2019s use of deep shadows and soft tonal transitions gives the image a quiet, atmospheric quality characteristic of the Pictorialist photography published in <em>Camera Work<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The image is printed on <strong>Japanese\/rice paper<\/strong> and mounted on a larger sheet.
