The book showcases 29 of the artist’s drypoints, etchings, aquatints and lithographs produced between 1905 and 1954, culled from the collections of the Fogg Art Museum and the Harvard College Library. Many of Picasso’s trademark subjects and styles are represented here: Cubist still lifes, Classically-inspired nudes and mythical creatures, a detail from “The Dream and Lie of Franco,” and one of his illustrations inspired by Balzac’s “Le chef-d’oeuvre inconnu.” Rosenberg’s introduction briefly contextualizes the artworks.

32pp, perfect-bound in bluish cardstock.
