This is an uncut copy of the July 1910 issue of Alfred Stieglitz\u2019s \u201cillustrated quarterly magazine devoted to Photography and to the activities of the Photo-Secession.\u201d Featured in this issue is the work of photographer Frank Eugene, American-born co-founder of the Photo-Secession group and one of the earliest professors of photography in the world; critic Sadakichi Hartmann called Eugene\u2019s work \u201cthe first time that a truly artistic temperament, a painter of generally recognized accomplishments and ability asserts itself in American photography.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keiley, and more. Several pages in the back of the book feature advertisements, designed by Stieglitz, for cameras and photographic supplies.<\/p>\n
