For its 20th anniversary celebration in 2000, CoCA brought back curator Larry Reid, who had left in 1992. This exhibition offered a retrospective of Destroy All Monsters, a popular anti-rock band from Ann Arbor, MI, featuring two dozen works by band members and internationally acclaimed visual artists Mike Kelley and Jim Shaw with films by founder Carey Loren. He graduated with a degree in painting but turned to the graphic work that had been his livelihood through his school years.
