He cites among his influences Creeley, Olson, Duncan and other Black Mountain School poets as well as Whit\u00adman and Dickinson.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Santa Monica, CA, Robin grew up in Wilmington, DE and Pittsburgh, PA. He has spent time in Los Angeles, Houston, Minneapolis and New Orleans, as well as Detroit, where he attended Wayne State University&#8217;s Monteith College and in London at the London School of Film Technique. His life experiences and travels have taken him all across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Robin resides with his wife, Kathleen, west of Detroit where he writes and pro\u00adduces documentaries, learning programs, and other communications to buy oil for the lamp.
