Stephen King Misery notepad, ephemera, 1987

Up for sale is an original piece of vintage horror ephemera: a promotional notepad distributed in limited quantities to bookstores and reviewers in 1987 for the launch of Stephen King’s novel, “Misery.” This has been in storage at Book Beat since 1987.  It is a pad of die-cut paper in the shape of Annie Wilkes holding an axe, the pad has about 50-100 sheets and is unopened, perfectly preserved.
