Performers included Howlin’ Wolf, Sun Ra and his Arkestra, Muddy Waters, Archie Shep, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Pharoah Sanders, Dr. John, Miles Davis, Sppi Wallace with Bonnie Raitt, Contemporary Jazz Quintet, Marion Brown, Luther Allison and the Mojo Bogie Band and many others. The 1972 Offical Program was published by Creem Magazine and Rainbow Media, artistic directors were Pete Andrews and John Sinclair.
