One of our favorite annual events is next weekend: SUNDAY, JULY 17<\/strong> at Eastern Market in Detroit. The Detroit Festival of Books<\/a> (aka: Detroit Bookfest) – a local jamboree of booklovers, bibliophiles, reading fans and bookstores. At this years  Bookfest we’ll be in booth #4 at Detroit’s Eastern Market in shed #5. We’ll be bringing sale books, modern first editions, and rarities in art, photography and children’s books. <\/p>\n

Several local authors will be visiting our booth between 12-4 PM, exact times TBA: Harvey Ovshinsky (Scratching the Surface<\/em>); Donald Levin (Savage City<\/em>); Aaron Foley (Boys Come First<\/em>); and Rochelle Riley (That They Lived<\/em>, and The Burden<\/em>). Our July reading group selection is W. B. Sebald’s Rings of Saturn<\/em>. If you’ve never read him before this is a great starting point.
