Fifth Estate<\/em> 50th Anniversary, Thurs., Sept. 10!<\/h2>\n

\"fe-394-1-cover\"Join us at the MOCAD Mobile Homestead<\/strong> on Thursday, September 10<\/strong> from 5:00-7:00pm<\/strong> for the opening of You Can\u2019t Print That!<\/em>: 50 Years of the Fifth Estate. <\/em><\/strong>The exhibit features a reconstruction of the magazines 1960s office with pre-computer printing technology, posters (rock and roll and anti-war), art, and the FE button and bumper sticker shop, featuring posters, books, buttons, and more. The exhibit runs to January 3, 2016. Open Friday-Sunday, 11am-5pm. Free. Michigan Reads! Author Laurie Keller, Sept. 17th & 18th!<\/a><\/h2>\n

On Thursday, 17th<\/strong>, Laurie Keller<\/strong> will visit Roosevelt Primary where she\u2019ll treat students to her presentation. Later that evening from 6:30-7:30pm,<\/strong> Ferndale Area District Library<\/a> <\/strong>(222 E. Nine Mile Rd., Ferndale, MI 48220) will host Keller at an evening program catered to preschool age children and their families.
