Book Beat Reading group selection for January 28th, 2009

Our next meeting will be Wednesday,  Jaunuary 28th at 7 PM at the Goldfish Teahouse in Royal Oak. We will be discussing the Russian classic Master & Margarita by Mikail Bulgakov.  For more information, call 248-968-1190. Reading club books are discounted 15% at the store.  

The Master and Margarita  is a novel by Mikhail Bulgakov, woven around the premise of a visit by the Devil to the fervently atheistic Soviet Union. Many critics consider the book to be one of the greatest novels of the 20th century, as well as one of the foremost Soviet satires, directed against a suffocatingly bureaucratic social order. -- Wikepedia
