BIG NEWS! Award-winning author Maggie Stiefvater will be at the Detroit Public Library (Main Library – 5201 Woodward Avenue Detroit MI, 48202) on Tuesday, October 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Friday, Oct. 20: Women of Motown signing with Susan Whitall

As part of the historic Detroit A-Go-Go festival, author Susan Whitall will be at the St. Regis Hotel (3071 W Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202) on Friday, October 20th from 11 AM to 1 PM to sign copies of her book, Women of Motown: An Oral History.  This is a newly revised edition of her book previously published in 1999. Tuesday, Oct. 24: Drew Philp at the Northville District Library

Author Josh Malerman will be at the Ferndale Public Library (222 E. Nine Mile Rd., Ferndale, MI 48220) on Thursday, October 26th at 7 PM. Malerman will be holding a special Halloween performance for his newest release, “Goblin.”  A special 13th edition to Earthling Publishing’s annual Halloween series.  This event is free and open to the public. Friday, November 3rd: 75 Years of Little Golden Books reception 

Please join us for Golden Legacy: 75 Years of Golden Books, an exhibition and book signing reception opening on Friday, November 3rd from 5 PM – 7:30 PM at the Alfred Berkowitz Gallery  on the third floor of the Mardigian Library at the University of Michigan, Dearborn Campus.

Diane Muldrow, editor of Little Golden Books and author of the “Everything I Need to Know I Learned from a Little Golden Book” series, will present from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Book signing to follow. A selection of books will be available for purchase provided by the Book Beat. More information HERE.
