If you are with a school or organization that has a peace pole outside your building, we hope you are celebrating this world day.
If you are with a school and are working toward a “bully free” school or class, this can be a day to celebrate and begin your “bully free” year. It can be as simple as recognizing the day and explaining what it is at an assembly or on the intercom when you read the daily announcements.
We hope you will consider celebrating the International Day of Peace and will make a peace day program! Practice peace by yourself or with others. Reading books about peace is another way to celebrate this day.
