 Author Miriam Pawel will be speaking at the Oak Park Public Library, (14200 Oak Park Blvd, Oak Park, MI) on Thursday, October 21 @ 7:00 pm about her book THE UNION OF THEIR DREAMS: Power, Hope, and Struggle in Cesar Chàvez’s Farm Worker Movement. The event co-sponsored by the Book Beat will begin at 7:00 p.m. and corresponds with the paperback release of this new appraisal of Ceasar Chavez and the United Farm Workers Movement.
